You can always run old content when you are max level too. Its just rather empty until you hit Legion content/level 100.
Then again, seeing as you're new, it can be a great experience to just casually explore the massive world you can play in. Anything you do before that content, is of very little relevance. The real game does begin with legion content anyway these days. In all fairness I wouldn't worry much about secondary stats, get heirlooms that give an XP boost and max out that character level as soon as you can. Would I be right in thinking that this list HERE is still relevant/correct? I think I'm right in thinking I need crit, intel & haste as my stat priority but as there's so much information on this game and so many patches I'm having trouble seeing what would be best for me. My problem is that I can't seem to find what best suits my character. A friend of mine kindly gave me 10k gold and then I discovered heirlooms. I just want to start by apologising for the extremely noobish question, I'm actually new to World of Warcraft (as hard as that is to believe) and I have next to no idea what I'm doing.
